The Body Politick: The Art and Architecture of Bruno Freschi' Opening Reception
1986 was a threshold year for the City of Vancouver. From May through October the city was host to the world famous Expo. Bruno Freschi was the architect for this world wide event and spreadheaded both the economic growth of this city and also a unique architectural style: one which focused on sacred space and a non-hierarchical world view. This exhibition looks back to Expo exhibiting Freschi's architetural drawings which have become part of the permanent collection at the Vancouver City Archieve. The exhibition's opening night will be held within the museum from 7pm to 9pm, where light refreshements will be served. Admission is free.
